How Settlement Works — Grading, Disputes, and Voided Trades

Once a game ends, Novig grades all trades against official data sources and settles them automatically. Settlement typically occurs within 30 minutes of the event ending. Your updated balance is reflected in your Portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Novig settle trades?

Results are verified against official data sources after the event concludes. Trades are then graded (won, lost, voided, or pushed) accordingly. You can track the status of any trade in your Portfolio.

How long does settlement take?

Settlement typically occurs within 30 minutes of the event ending.

My trade seems graded incorrectly. What do I do?

Reach out through Live Chat. Provide your trade or order slip ID (or the event name and your selection if you don't have the ID), and explain what you believe the correct outcome should be. Make sure to connect to a human agent. Our team will review against official statistics and respond, usually within 24–48 hours.

What happens when official statistics are corrected after a game?

If an official stat correction affects trade outcomes, Novig will re-grade affected trades. Re-grading typically occurs within 24 hours of the correction, provided the correction is reported within approximately 48 hours of the game ending. Your account balance adjusts automatically if the re-grade changes your outcome.

What is a voided trade?

A trade is voided if the event is cancelled, a player doesn't participate, or other conditions in the Market Rules apply. When a trade is voided, your stake is returned to your account.

What is a push?

A push occurs when the result exactly matches the line, or when a player (in props markets) doesn't participate at any point during the event. Your stake is returned.

Where do I find sport-specific void and push conditions?

See the Market Rules article in the Rules and Compliance collection.

Where can I see all my trade details?

In the Portfolio section of the app. Each trade shows the event, your selection, the odds, and the settlement result.
