What is the Blue Boot Jackpot?
The Blue Boot Jackpot is a Novig promotion for the 2026 World Cup (June 11 – July 19, 2026). During the group stage, you can claim up to three (3) Blue Boot Jackpot Tokens — one per group-stage round. You apply each Token to a qualifying order: a Yes position on a player to win the Golden Boot, the award for the most goals scored in the tournament.
If your Selected Player wins the Golden Boot, every Token applied to that player earns an equal share of a 500,000 Novig Cash prize pool. You also earn 500 Novig Points per Token every time your Selected Player scores a qualifying goal after the Token is applied.
How do I join the Blue Boot Jackpot?
To participate in the Blue Boot Jackpot:
Opt in through the Novig app or website during an open Token window. Opting in during a window gives you one (1) Token for that window.
Place a qualifying order: a Yes position of at least 5 Novig Cash, at odds of -200 or longer, on a player to win the Golden Boot, taken from existing orders (take orders only).
Apply the Token to the order at the time you place it. The player on that order becomes your Selected Player.
You must have an active Novig account in good standing and be located in a jurisdiction where Novig is available and legally permitted to operate.
When can I claim Blue Boot Tokens?
There are three (3) Token windows in the Blue Boot Jackpot, one for each round of group-stage play. You must opt in separately during each window:
Token 1: Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET through Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Token 2: Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET through Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Token 3: Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET until immediately before kickoff of the first Round of 32 match on Sunday, June 28, 2026 (approximately 3:00 p.m. ET).
Each Token must be both claimed and applied to a qualifying order before its window closes.
I missed a Token window. Can I still get that Token?
A Token that is not claimed and applied to a qualifying order before its window closes is forfeited. Forfeited Tokens do not carry over to a later window and cannot be restored.
Missing one window does not affect the others. For example, if you missed the Round 1 window, you can still opt in during the Round 2 and Round 3 windows and claim those Tokens, for a maximum of two Tokens instead of three.
Can I claim a Token now and use it later?
A Token can only be used within the window it was claimed in. The Token must be applied to a qualifying order before that window closes, and it must be attached at the moment the order is placed. Tokens cannot be added to an order or position that already exists, and unused Tokens do not roll over to later windows.
Can I put all three Tokens on the same player?
You can apply all of your Blue Boot Tokens to the same player or split them across different players. Each Token must be applied to its own separate order — a single order cannot carry more than one Token.
If your Selected Player wins the Golden Boot, you receive one share of the prize pool for each Token applied to that player. For example, three Tokens on the Golden Boot winner pay three shares.
What counts as a qualifying order for a Blue Boot Token?
A qualifying order for the Blue Boot Jackpot must meet all of the following requirements:
It is a Yes position on a specific player to win the Golden Boot for the 2026 World Cup. No positions do not qualify.
It is at least 5 Novig Cash.
The odds are -200 or longer at the time the order is placed.
It is a take order (an order that matches against an existing order). Make orders are not eligible.
The Token is applied when the order is placed. Tokens cannot be applied retroactively to existing orders.
Why won't my Token apply to my order?
If a Blue Boot Token will not attach to an order, check the following common causes:
The order is below the 5 Novig Cash minimum.
The odds are shorter than -200 (for example, -250). Orders on heavy favorites priced shorter than -200 do not qualify.
The order is a make order. Tokens can only be applied to take orders.
The order is a No position. Only Yes positions on a player to win the Golden Boot qualify.
The Token's window has already closed, or you have not opted in during the current window.
If none of these apply and the Token still will not attach, contact Novig support.
Can I change my Selected Player after applying a Token?
Once a Blue Boot Token is applied to a qualifying order, it cannot be moved, returned, or re-applied to a different player or order. This applies even if your Selected Player is injured or withdrawn from the tournament.
What happens if I hedge against my Selected Player?
If you place a matched order on the No side of the same Golden Boot market where a Blue Boot Token is applied, that Token is forfeited. You lose both the Points Bonus and the Prize Pool eligibility for that Token. This rule applies to both make orders and take orders, but only to matched orders.
Placing a No order on a different player's Golden Boot market does not affect your Tokens.
What happens if my Selected Player withdraws from the World Cup?
If your Selected Player is withdrawn from the tournament before playing in any match (for example, due to injury), the qualifying order is settled according to standard Novig market rules. The Blue Boot Token attached to that order is not returned and cannot be re-applied to another player.
How do I earn Novig Points in the Blue Boot Jackpot?
You earn 500 Novig Points per Token for each qualifying goal your Selected Player scores after the Token is applied. The Points Bonus stacks with multiple Tokens on the same player: one Token earns 500 Points per goal, two Tokens earn 1,000 Points per goal, and three Tokens earn 1,500 Points per goal.
Points Bonuses are credited to your account within 24 hours of the end of the match in which the goal was scored, and are governed by the Novig Points program terms.
Do goals my player scored before I applied my Token count?
Goals scored before your Token was applied do not earn the Points Bonus. Only goals your Selected Player scores after the Token is applied to a qualifying order count toward Novig Points.
For example, if you apply a Round 3 Token to a player who has already scored four goals in the tournament, those four goals earn no Points. Only goals scored after you applied the Token earn the Points Bonus. Earlier goals still count toward the player's official Golden Boot total, so they still matter for the prize pool.
Which goals count as qualifying goals?
A qualifying goal is any goal officially credited to your Selected Player in official World Cup match data and scored after your Token was applied. This includes penalties scored during the run of play at any stage of the tournament.
Two types of goals never count as qualifying goals:
Own goals scored by the Selected Player.
Penalty shootout goals. Shootouts occur only in the knockout stage, and shootout goals are not credited toward a player's official goal total.
Do I earn Points if my player doesn't win the Golden Boot?
The Points Bonus is independent of the prize pool. You earn 500 Novig Points per Token for every qualifying goal your Selected Player scores after the Token is applied, regardless of whether that player ultimately wins the Golden Boot.
How much do I win if my player wins the Golden Boot?
The Blue Boot Jackpot prize pool is 500,000 Novig Cash, split equally across all Tokens applied to the Golden Boot winner platform-wide. Each winning Token receives 500,000 ÷ (total number of winning Tokens).
The payout per Token is not a fixed amount — it depends on how many Tokens were applied to the winning player. For example, if 1,000 Tokens are applied to the Golden Boot winner, each Token pays 500 Novig Cash, and a user with three Tokens on that player receives 1,500 Novig Cash. A heavily backed favorite generally means a smaller per-Token share, while a less popular winner means a larger one.
Does it matter when I claimed my Token or how much I wagered?
Every Blue Boot Token carries equal weight in the prize pool, regardless of which round it was claimed in, when it was applied, or the size of the qualifying order (as long as the order met the 5 Novig Cash minimum). A Round 1 Token and a Round 3 Token on the Golden Boot winner pay exactly the same share.
Is the jackpot payout separate from my order winnings?
The Prize Pool Payout is paid in addition to your order's normal settlement. Your underlying Yes position on the Golden Boot market settles on its own under standard Novig market rules, and any prize pool share is credited separately as a bonus.
When and how are jackpot winnings paid out?
Prize Pool Payouts are credited to winning users' Novig accounts as Novig Cash within 24 hours of the conclusion of the World Cup. The Final is scheduled for July 19, 2026.
Can I redeem my Blue Boot Jackpot winnings?
Prize Pool Payouts are non-redeemable Novig Cash. They become eligible for redemption once they have met Novig's playthrough requirements.
What happens if two players tie for the Golden Boot?
If two or more players are tied for the most goals, the Blue Boot Jackpot honors the official tiebreak rules of the tournament's governing body. The player officially named the Golden Boot winner is the winner for this promotion. Tokens on a player who loses the tiebreak do not receive a prize pool share.
My player was eliminated. Is my Token dead?
A Token on an eliminated player can still win the jackpot. The Golden Boot goes to the top scorer across the entire tournament, so a player eliminated in the group stage can still finish with the most goals and win the award. However, an eliminated player cannot score additional goals, so you will not earn further Points Bonuses for that Token.
My Novig Points haven't arrived. What should I check?
Points Bonuses are credited within 24 hours of the end of the match in which the qualifying goal was scored. If it has been longer than 24 hours, check the following:
The goal was officially credited to your Selected Player in official World Cup match data. Own goals and penalty shootout goals do not count.
The goal was scored after your Token was applied. Goals scored before the Token was applied earn no Points.
You have not forfeited the Token by placing a matched No order on the same market.

Can Novig disqualify me from the promotion?
Novig reserves the right to disqualify any user it reasonably believes has engaged in fraudulent activity, manipulation, or abuse of the promotion. By participating, you agree to the promotion's terms and conditions and to Novig's decisions, which are final. All standard Novig Terms of Use apply in addition to the promotional terms.
