How can I manage and troubleshoot bank accounts linked through Aeropay in Novig?

While Novig does not manage your payment accounts directly, you can use Aeropay to link, update, or troubleshoot your bank accounts. Security considerations restrict detailed visibility within Novig, necessitating direct interaction with Aeropay for most account-related tasks.

Adding a New Bank Account

If you'd like to set up a new primary payment method:

  1. Navigate to the Purchase tab in the Novig app.

  2. Initiate the purchase process, and use the Aeropay option to add your preferred account.

  3. Once linked, this account becomes available for future transactions.

Troubleshooting Bank Account Errors

Resolving Duplicate or Existing Connections

If your bank account is already linked to another Aeropay account:

  • Contact Aeropay directly to confirm whether an existing account is associated with your details.

  • Based on their guidance, modify your Novig account settings, such as updating the associated phone number to match the Aeropay account.

Differentiating Linked Accounts

The Novig app does not display details like the last four digits of account numbers for security reasons. To verify or manage your accounts:

  • Reach out to Aeropay support, as they are the ones who manage these details for your linked accounts.

Removing Bank Accounts

If you need to remove an old or inactive account:

  1. Contact Aeropay at their support email: [email protected].

  2. Request that they clear out or update your linked accounts.

  3. Once done, you can re-add your active, preferred bank account through the steps described in the "Adding a New Bank Account" section.
