Trade Credits are promotional credits that can be applied toward a trade, offsetting its entire cost. They're often awarded through promotions, bonuses, or special offers. While they can make a trade free, they come with a few rules that determine when and how they can be used.
What is a Trade Credit?
A Trade Credit is a promotional balance that can be applied to a single trade. Unlike your regular cash or coin balance, Trade Credits are tied to specific conditions set at the time they're issued.
Is there a price minimum to use a Trade Credit?
Yes. Trade Credits typically have a price minimum, for example -200. This means the trade you're applying the Trade Credit to must be priced at -200 or longer (i.e., -200, -150, +110, etc.) to qualify. Trades priced shorter than the minimum (like -300) won't be eligible.
Do Trade Credits expire?
Yes. Every Trade Credit has an expiration date. If it isn't used before then, it disappears from your account and can no longer be applied to a trade.
Can I split a Trade Credit across multiple trades?
No. A Trade Credit must be used in full on a single trade — it can't be divided or applied partially across multiple trades.
Are there other restrictions on Trade Credits?
Possibly. Depending on the specific Trade Credit, it may also be limited by:
Market — some Trade Credits only apply to certain sports, leagues, or trade types.
Trade type — some Trade Credits only apply to straight trades, while others may only apply to parlays.
Always check the specific terms attached to a Trade Credit to confirm where it can be used.
Where can I see my available Trade Credits?
Any Trade Credits available to you will show up directly on the order slip when you're building a trade.
If I see a Trade Credit on my order slip, can I always apply it?
Not necessarily. A Trade Credit can appear as available on your order slip even if the trade you've built doesn't meet all of its requirements — for example, if the price is shorter than the minimum, or the market or trade type doesn't qualify. In that case, the Trade Credit will be visible but won't be applicable to that trade. Adjust your trade (or use the Trade Credit on a different trade that meets its requirements) to apply it.
Can I combine a Trade Credit with Novig Cash on the same trade?
No. Trade Credits and Novig Cash can't be combined on a single trade — a trade must be paid for entirely with one or the other, not a mix of both.
If you want to place a trade for more than the value of your Trade Credit, use the Trade Credit on one trade, then rebuild the trade and place a second one using Novig Cash for the remaining amount.
How long does it take for Trade Credit winnings to reflect in my Novig wallet after settlement?
If you placed a trade with a Trade Credit, funds can take up to 5 minutes to reflect in your Novig wallet after settlement.
